How to Calculate Average (Mean)

The average (mean) of a set of numbers is calculated by finding the sum of all numbers and dividing that sum by the total number of values in the set.

Example:

Sum of Number Set = 2 + 8 + 60 + 35 = 105

Count of Values in Number Set = 4

Average (Mean) = 105 / 4 = 26.25
